As Bafana Bafana prepare to take on Namibia in an international friendly, Soccer Laduma looks at who could start for Hugo Broos at FNB Stadium this afternoon.
Bafana are using the match against Namibia this afternoon, as well as the one against DR Congo on Tuesday, to prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in November and the Africa Cup of Nations in January.

Broos has stated that he will give all the outfield players an opportunity to play in the two international friendlies.
In goal, AmaZulu shot-stopper Veli Mothwa is expected to start ahead of captain Ronwen Williams, with a back four of Thabiso Monyane, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Siyanda Xulu and Innocent Maela likely to play in front of him.
Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teboho Mokoena and overseas based Luke Le Roux are not available, so Broos could go with Bathusi Aubaas and Grant Margeman in the middle of the park, with Pule Mmodi like to play on the left wing and Monnapule Saleng on the right flank, giving both players an opportunity to cut into play with their stronger feet.

Broos will have a big decision to make on who starts upfront, with his strikers currently in good form. Percy Tau could start as a supporting striker, with Lyle Foster possibly as the number nine, having recently opened his scoring account for Burnley in the English Premier League.
