Even though the Bafana Bafana squad is dominated by Mamelodi Sundowns players, a legend reminds South African football followers that most PSL clubs should be credited for the team's success.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview, Roger Feutmba points out that the rest of the PSL have also contributed to the 10 Brazilians at Bafana.
Notably, there were eight Downs players in the South Africa line-up that famously beat Morocco 2-0 in the last 16 round.

"The national team, together with SAFA should be grateful to all the teams in the PSL for contributing to the current Bafana Bafana squad. Yes, it's true there are many players from Sundowns in that current team but if you look at it how many of them were developed by Sundowns?" Feutmba told the Siya crew.
"Almost all of them came from different teams. They came from SuperSport United, Bloemfontein Celtic, Black Leopards, TS Galaxy and other teams as well. So, yes, they can be Sundowns players at the moment but SAFA should be grateful for those teams which developed them and made them to be the players that they are right now," Feutmba reminded Soccer Laduma.
The former Cameroonian international added that for this reason all South African football loving audiences should be united behind Bafana Bafana.
"South Africa should be united behind Bafana Bafana. This is not Sundowns and the credit should go to all the PSL teams for helping build such a strong and quality team. If it wasn't for the other PSL teams even Sundowns could not have had the chance to sign such quality players who are now helping Bafana Bafana.
"So unity is what is needed now and appreciate all the teams that have contributed to the different player growth and development," Feutmba concluded.
