Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos is delighted with the form of his two strikers in Lyle Foster and Zakhele Lepasa who are banging in goals for Burnley and Orlando Pirates respectively, while raising concerns about Cassius Mailula.

Broos says that when he first took over the reins in 2021, he did not have the luxury of strikers who were finding the back of the net with the regularity that Lepasa, Foster and returnee Lebo Mothiba of Strasbourg have done this season.
The strikers have been called up for the international friendlies against Namibia and DR Congo, and Broos will be hoping they continue their club form in the national team.
"If you compare that with two years ago, I have many good strikers, you name [Zakhele] Lepasa, [Lyle] Foster, [Cassius] Mailula, it will be difficult for him because I looked at the Toronto squad, [Lorenzo] Insigne is there, [Deandre] Kerr is an international player, Fredericho Bernadeschi is an Italian international, it will be very difficult for him there but let's see what happens with him, I hope he plays as soon as possible, so that we can also count on him," he told journalists at FNB Stadium.
"So, that is two for the moment, we are a in a bit of luxury, all these strikers are strikers that score goals, Foster scores for Burnley, Lepasa – I don't have to tell you, Mothiba, they are scoring, which is important for strikers.
"For this match, it's not really important and these two games are to look at a few things, but I will have to make a decision because you can't have four central strikers in a 23-man squad. But I prefer such a situation than a situation where you have to search for a very good striker," he continued.
Bafana Bafana face Namibia at Orlando Stadium on Saturday. Kick off is at 3pm.
