Stuart Baxter's side need just one point away against Libya in order to qualify for this year's African Cup of Nations, while a win could (depending on other results) even see them top the group and qualify as winners.
Furman, who has been a regular under Gordon Igesund, Shakes Mashaba, and now Baxter, is hoping to get himself a start in Sfax on Sunday evening, and admits that it is these kinds of encounters that players should be looking forward to.

Speaking from Tunisia, the SuperSport United captain said, "As players these are the games you want to play. There's a huge prize at the end of it... It's great to be here, we are pushing and we all know what the prize is. We are so focused on being at the AFCON this time round, so we've got to get the job done.
"I was at the game against Nigeria and the boys did very well. What we've got to remember is that we are undefeated in this group and obviously if it remains that way then we qualify… So we've got to take that as a huge positive. We've taken on one of the best teams in Africa. We beat them away and we put in a good performance, so we can come into this camp with a lot of confidence."

Furman is battling it out with the likes of Kamohelo Mokotjo, Hlompho Kekana, Tiyani Mabunda and Bongani Zungu for a spot in the heart of Bafana's midfield on Sunday, and 30-year-old will be eager to stake his claim in training as Baxter checks out his options before making a decision later in the week.
