UCT Hyped Up For NMMU Battle

UCT are fit and raring to go as they prepare to visit NMMU Madibaz in Port Elizabeth on Monday. The Ikey Warriors will be going all out for victory against their hosts after a slow start to Varsity Football this season. However, coach Rowan Hendricks says his players will be wary of last year's losing finalists, who have now lost only two games since the tournament's inception last year. "We know that they will come at us but we won't be holding back either. It will be a tough battle of exciting football," he said. Hendricks is happy to report that his players have made through the week with no injuries and he will have a full squad to choose from when he selects his team to play on Monday. "We have no injury concerns and the players seem to improving all the time. The mood in the camp is great," he added. The former Germany-based player says he wants his players to go out and enjoy themselves on Monday.
