TUT Sniper Out To Take UWC Down

Selby Madibana
TUT's Selby Madibana says that his team will be working hard on their finishing ahead of the top of the table clash with UWC in Cape Town on Monday. Coach Bushy Moloi has expressed his disappointment in the quality of TUT's finishing this season, and Madibana says that they will be working hard on this aspect of their game this weekend in preparation for the showdown with UWC. "We are going to be working hard on our finishing this weekend, we are creating chances but we need more composure in front of goal so we are working on that," he said. The hard-working midfielder has been known to unleash some thunderbolts from outside the box, which is something he says his coach encourages him to do. Madibana was part of the TUT side that featured in the inaugural tournament in 2013, and he says that the level of football has taken a big step up since then. "It is much tougher now, every team has a chance of winning on the day," he said. Given his experience from 2013, he knows that his team have their work cut out for them in Cape Town where conditions are sure to play a role on Monday. "It is not easy to play in Cape Town, so we have to go there physically and mentally prepared," he said. Madibana has been impressed with UWC this season, but says that his team is still confident of taking the three points and moving to the top of the standings. "UWC will be confident because they have won four games in a row, but we really want to win and although it will be tough we are confident of taking three points home with us," he added.
