Things are far from good for gabon in the afcon2017

As AFCON is currently underway, things are very far from being good for the hosts, Gabon.  They suffered another draw against Burkina Faso during the Group A match on Wednesday evening.

As hosts of the tournament, it would be very unfortunate if they cannot progress in the tournament. A lot is expected from them as they have home ground advantage.

However, there have been some good players that have impressed in the tournament.

Prejuce Nakoulma (Burkina Faso)

The striker has been impressive and he grabbed his chance during Wednesday's evening match against Gabon.  He came on when Jonathan Pitroipa got injured and then scored an important goal for The Stallions.

Bakary Sako (Mali)

He's a strong winger with strength and explosive runs down the wing for Mali.

Khama Billiat (Zimbabwe)

Again the Mamelodi Sundowns man showed that can unlock any defence when he's on song as he gave Algeria's defence a very hard time during their group B match.

Wilfried Zaha (Cote d'Ivoire)

The Crystal Palace man is a player of a high quality and has a very high work rate.

Riyadh Mahrez (Algeria)

Mahrez has class and that separates him from the rest. His goals against Zimbabwe were great and he has excellent technique.

What can Gabon do to turn things around and which other players have impressed in the tournament?
