The Siya crew understands Swallows have concluded another surprise deal ahead of the transfer deadline next week.
As reported by Soccer Laduma on Wednesday, the Dube Birds had been offered Grant Magerman by Mamelodi Sundowns.
It's now understood that the deal has been agreed to in principle and that the young midfielder is expected to start training with the Soweto club and meet his new teammates as soon as all the finer details are ironed out.
Magerman, 23, joined Sundowns at the start of last season as he penned a long-term contract, but he only made three appearances.
He will be hoping his fortunes change at Swallows under coach Brandon Truter, who would have played a part in luring him to the Dube Birds, given that there was also interest from elsewhere in Magerman.
Swallows face Cape Town City in the first leg of their MTN8 semifinal clash this weekend and Magerman will now watch that match probably as one of their squad players who will be eager to add to their depth.
The Dube Birds have been among the busiest in the transfer window, but with only four days before the window closes Magerman may very well be their final signing.
