Spanish La Liga Wrap 19 December 2015

Valencia 2-2 Getafe

Gary Neville remains unbeaten since taking over at Valencia, after they drew 2-2 with Getafe at the Mestalla on Saturday.

The visitors went ahead on two occasions with goals from Pablo Sarabia and Lafita, however the Urban Warriors hit back straight away thanks to goals from Paco Alcacer and Santi Mina.

The draw sees Valencia remain in 10th spot, while Getafe moved up one spot into 12th.

Espanyol 1-0 Las Palmas 

Espanyol bagged their second straight league win with a 1-0 victory over Las Palmas on Saturday evening.

The only goal of the game arrived in the 78th minute via former Manchester City striker, Felipe Caicedo.

Espanyol have now moved up to 13th position in the La Liga standings, Las Palmas remain in the bottom three.

Real Betis 0-0 Sevilla

Sevilla missed the chance to break into the top six, after they were held to a goalless draw by Real Betis at Estadio Benito Villamarín.

The result sees Sevilla remain in seventh spot, while Betis moved up one spot into 11th.
