Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez both bagged a brace, as Real Madrid thrashed Real Betis 5-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Karim Benzema made a return to the line-up with James Rodriguez, while Isco and Jese Rodriguez dropped to the bench.
Gareth Bale opened the scoring for the hosts inside the second minute, as the Welshman headed home James Rodriguez's cross from the right.
The home side almost doubled their lead in the 34th minute but former Real goalkeeper, Adan, did well to thwart Cristiano Ronaldo from close range.
The lead was eventually doubled in the 38th minute when Rodriguez curled home a sublime free-kick from a tight angle which left Adan with no chance.
Benitez's side added third goal shortly after the halftime break, as Rodriguez played in Bale, who in-turn picked out Karim Benzema for the easiest of headers from six-yards out.
Los Blancos added a fourth goal just moments later, as Rodriguez showed great control before, acrobatically firing into the far corner.
The Real Betis goalkeeper was called upon once again in the 58th minute, as he came rushing off his line to deny Ronaldo once again.
The visitors were presented with a chance to reduce the deficit in the 61st minute from the penalty spot, but Keylor Navas guessed the right way to thwart Ruben Castro.
Sergio Ramos nearly got his name on the score-sheet in the 76th minute, when he's attempted over-head kick crashed against the upright.
Bale, who got the scoring underway, rounded off the scoring in the 88th minute with a powerful effort from 25-yards out.
