Showboating Isn't A Style Of Football - Reader's Voice

Showboating Isn't A Style Of Football - Reader's Voice

Most people say showboating is our South African style of play. More than 75% of football fans and supporters come to the stadiums to see goals and some Kasi Flava for 'entertainment'. We all have seen a section of former football professionals and pundits alike supporting Kasi Flava and showboating, but I personally think we should look at a football game a bit more productively.

If we look at the football games productively, then we will not take Kindly to Unnecessary showboating, that Masibusane Zongo used do in his heyday, I know that most of our former players used to do it a lot and were getting the results weekly, but the game has evolved.

Showboating is also not a way of 'expressing yourself' as player on the field of play, but playing with freedom (without being scared to make a mistake) is a great way to express yourself.

Professional footballers should have these abilities: Passing, Shooting and Crossing. We have seen Trent Alexandra- Anorld's special Crossing ability, our players have to train harder to develop such abilities.
