Real Madrid Legend Raul Gonzalez believes Sergio Ramos and Iker Casillas are the perfect examples of players that represent the values of Real Madrid.
Ramos Criticises Fans' Abuse Of Bale
The New York Cosmos striker took some time out to talk about his former club Real Madrid and life in the United States of America.
Raul believes that if you embrace the values and culture at Los Blancos, then it means you will stay there for a very long time - and that is seen with Ramos and Casillas.
"The values of Real Madrid are represented well by Sergio Ramos and Casillas, but also the many foreign players who have long been at the club and know what it means." He told AS.
Raul spoke about his achievement of being nominated for the Ballon d'Or, but isn't disappointed that he didn't win it, as football is bigger than individual performances.
"I have dedicated my life to what I love doing: playing football. One time I was second in the Ballon d'Or, another time I was third," he added.
"Could I have got there? Maybe. But it's not important to me. Football is a team sport."
The striker played 550 matches for Real Madrid and scored over 200 goals for his beloved club.
