SuperSport United midfielder, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, has said that SuperSport United have nothing to prove in today's Telkom Knockout final against Cape Town City.

Matsatsantsa are currently second in the league and impressed en route to the final after claiming wins over Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates in the quarter and semi-finals, as well as a win against Bidvest Wits in the league on 29 November.
However, when asked whether a win over Eric Tinkler's league leaders would prove that SuperSport are the team to beat this season, Letsholonyane responded by saying that his team have nothing to prove and will just be focused on lifting the trophy today.
"We don't have anything to prove to anyone," he told Soccer Laduma. "What we want to do is play our game, to work hard and play as a team. At the end of the game, it will be for us and we don't have anything to prove."

Letsholonyane went on to say that the SuperSport team's experience in winning the title back in 2014, as well as his own experience in Kaizer Chiefs' wins in 2009 and 2010, will not play a role in the team's efforts to overcome a less experienced Cape Town City outfit.
"It won't really count in our favour. Winning the game will be another experience just like it was a couple years ago," he continued. "So, it won't really play any role in the result, with some of us winning it before. In the game, we just need to show up and do what we need to do."
