Reigning world champions France have named their squad for their upcoming 2020 UEFA European Championship qualifiers against Iceland and Turkey, but Paul Pogba and Ousmane Dembele were excluded.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winners announced their latest 23-man squad on Friday morning, but Manchester United star Pogba and FC Barcelona forward Dembele were notable absentees.
The pair miss out through injury and are joined on the sidelines by a long list of players, which includes Aymeric Laporte, Benjamin Mendy, Ferland Mendy, Samuel Umtiti, Anthony Martial and Florian Thauvin.

Real Madrid stars Alphonse Areola and Raphael Varane have made the squad, as has Barca superstar Antoine Griezmann, while Jonathan Ikone retains his place after impressing on debut during the previous international break.
N'Golo Kante returns after missing the previous squad through injury, and national team captain Hugo Lloris will become the nation's third most-capped player of all time if he features in both matches.

Les Bleus, who have won three of their four qualification matches thus far, will travel to Iceland on 11 October before hosting Turkey three days later.
