With Orlando Pirates set to welcome Swallows FC at the Orlando Stadium in their next DStv Premiership match on Saturday, the fans are eagerly awaiting to see what the club's new recruits have to offer, if they eligible to play and are available for selection.
Before the transfer window closed shut last week, the Buccaneers had finally confirmed signing Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah and Ghanaian striker Kwame Peprah.
The Soweto giants will hope to have the duo's work permits available, to be eligible for selection by the technical team as the team is still searching for their first win of the 2021/22 season.
Former Pirates striker, Sibusiso 'Rhee' Zuma, is concerned about the team's defence and is unsure if Ndah will be the solution to solving the problem.
"I'm not sure (if Ndah will be the solution). Orlando Pirates looks strong on paper, and I think they need to try and get that mix of young and experience going first. I think bringing more players to the team is not going to help. That's why I raised a point about maybe bringing someone like Benni as I think that would help in the organisation of the team. But bringing more players wouldn't help and a lot of things don't make sense at Pirates now," said Zuma, speaking to the Siya crew.
"The defence is shaky. But you never know, maybe the new guy (Ndah) is going to add that presence at the back," Zuma added.
