Motsepe for Caf presidency

Dr Patrice Motsepe’s bid for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Presidency is and should be supported by all football loving fraternity. His contribution to football so far is unparalleled compared to other candidates. It is no secrete that Caf is in tatters. How do you explain the failure to televise Caf championship games, the poor performance of referees, the ill treatment of the teams? I bet my last cent, if it was a South African team that failed to send vivas, Wydad vs Chiefs, the team would have been declared having lost the game. If the referee made the wrong decision in favour of Chiefs against Horoya (Chiefs denied a legitimate goal), the game would have been replayed as was Bafana. That the current president Ahmad who is alleged to be instrumental in destroying SA football by ensuring Chiefs do not sign players is suspended for corruption is mind-boggling. In Dr Motsepe we do not want favour but fairness. To quote Dr Danny Jordan and Dr Irvin Khoza we contend that he ‘is the right person for the position’ and ‘we are firmly behind him’.
