The Italian striker is currently on loan at AC Milan from the Reds, and is sidelined for three months after requiring surgery for an inguinal hernia.
However, his Rossoneri teammate and former Los Blancos goalkeeper Diego Lopez has now revealed one of the controversial striker's biggest dreams.
"Do you know what? His (Balotelli's) dream is to play for Real Madrid," the shot-stopper told Marca.
Balotelli has already played for Inter Milan, Manchester City, AC Milan and Liverpool in his career.
His undoubted potential has often been overshadowed by off-pitch drama and it seems unlikely that Real's bosses would go for him, especially as he has only scored five goals over the past two seasons.

However, Balotelli is only 25 and could get back to his best once he recovers from the hernia. He proved he can compete at the highest level when his brace for Italy knocked Germany out of the 2012 European Championship.
