Lebogang Manyama Set for Kaizer Chiefs Stay?

Lebogang Manyama Set for Kaizer Chiefs Stay?

With just one round of matches left in the DStv Premiership, Kaizer Chiefs will have to put up the performance of the season to ensure the campaign does not end in complete embarrassment.

Chiefs know that a victory over TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday would all but seal their place in the top eight and end what has been a difficult campaign on a positive.

And a player capable of leading them to the victory they need is Lebogang Manyama, who bagged a hat-trick in the hard-fought 3-2 victory over Golden Arrows on Wednesday night. Manyama will see his contract with the Soweto giants come to an end this month, but a source close to the player has confirmed that he is happy at the club and is looking to stay beyond the expiration of his deal.

The 30-year-old attacking midfielder has scored eight league goals this season for Amakhosi,

According to information received by the Siya crew, Manyama's future looks set to be finalised in the coming weeks as Chiefs hope to ensure they have a strong enough squad to compete for honours next season, with new faces also expected to arrive at Naturena.

Manyama is one of the players Chiefs would want to have as part of the team to try and challenge for the title next season.

In TS Galaxy, Amakhosi won't have an easy opponent. The Rockets recently beat Chiefs' arch rivals Orlando Pirates 1-0 and Owen da Gama's men would no doubt want to get another victory over a Soweto giant.
