La Liga
Teams: Barcelona vs Real Sociedad
Venue: Camp Nou, Barcelona
Time: 5.00pm
Barcelona only have one confirmed absentee for the match, Rafinha, who is expected to be out for the remainder of the season due to a knee injury.
David Zurutuza and Jonathas will also miss the trip to the Camp Nou due to injury, as well as former Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi, who has picked up a suspension.
The Catalan club come into the clash having scored 10 times in their past two matches – their 4-0 thrashing of Los Blancos in El Clasico and their 6-1 demolishing of Roma in the UEFA Champions League.
Barcelona also have a great record against Sociedad in recent times, having beaten their opponents in the past 14 meetings between them across all competitions.
Luis Enrique's side have also won six La Liga games on the trot, and the likes of Neymar and Luis Suarez have been in superb form.
Of course, Messi's return to the team has been a massive boost to the squad, with the Argentine scoring a brace and assisting a further strike against Roma in what was his first start in about two months.
Sociedad are currently 14th on the league table with 12 points, while Barcelona are at the top of the log – six points clear of Real Madrid in second spot.
