Portugal's national side's cook Hélio Loureiro has revealed what Real Madrid's superstar Cristiano Ronaldo favourite dishes are when with the national side.
Ronaldo Messi Not La Liga's Most Efficient Forwards
The Portuguese chef has been preparing Ronaldo's meals for quite some time now, because the Ballon d'Or winner joined the national side at a very young age.
Talking at a gastronomic conference, Loureiro revealed Ronaldo's five favourite dishes to the crowd.
Bacalhau á bràs (salted cod, onions, thinly chopped fried potatoes held together with scrambled eggs), risotto, fried polenta (typical of Madeira) and vegetable soup, which is all followed by Portuguese wine.
Loureiro made it clear that these dishes are no secrets to the world and went onto add that Ronaldo enjoys a good bottle of wine after a great win.
"Cristiano Ronaldo's favourite dish is no secret. Even his mother has talked about it. What he likes to eat is bacalhau á bràs. It's a delicious dish and very famous in Portugal," he told AS.
"Ronaldo knows a lot about fine food, he likes risotto and the haut cuisine he discovered first in England and then in Spain.
"He's now a man of the world and enjoys fine wine with good food, a good wine to celebrate a good win."
Why Ronaldo Joined Man Utd And Not Arsenal
Ronaldo and his teammates face Almeria on Wednesday night at the Bernabeu and he might treat himself to a nice bottle of wine in case Los Blancos would get three points.
