The Tottenham Hotspur forward has come in for some heavy criticism after struggling to make an impact in the Three Lions' opening two fixtures at the 2020 UEFA European Championship.
However, England manager Gareth Southgate has made it clear he has no plans to drop his captain for their final Group D game against the Czech Republic, and Shaw feels Kane is one of the most important players in the team.
"There is no concern at all. For me, Harry is the best striker in the world. He is a very important part of this team," the fullback told journalists, per Goal.
"In fact, almost the most important part of the team. Whether he has not been at his best or not, he is a crucial player for us.
"If his performances aren't as people expected, this happens in tournament football, and you can score a goal at any moment.
"He is such a crucial player on and off the pitch. He has all our backing and I'm not worried at all."
Southgate's charges can secure a spot in the round of 16 with a win over the Czech Republic on Tuesday night.
