The visitors started to come out of their half in the closing stages of the half and were disrupting the momentum that was held by the Bavarians.

In the 55th minute Darmstadt took off Felix Platte and brought in Sven Schipplock as they pushed for an equaliser.
Schipplock almost made the perfect impact in the 65th minute, but his goal was flagged offside by the assistant referee.
Robert Lewandowski was denied by Esser after 71 minutes, as the shot-stopper produced a fine save to keep out the striker's close range effort.
Ribery missed a golden in the 80th minute opportunity after the Frenchman failed to connect with Thomas Muller's cross in the six-yard box.
However in the 85th minute goalscorer Bernat conceded a penalty after bringing down Schipplock inside the box.
Former Bayern midfielder, Hamit Altintop stepped up but had his penalty saved by Tom Starke, as Bayern held on for three points.
