Coach Dylan Kerr might have parted ways with Black Leopards, but not with their adoring fans - who still show him sincere adulation when they meet him in the streets of Limpopo.
Kerr has chosen to remain mum on the events that saw him part ways with Lidoda Duvha over the weekend, but bid farewell to the club's fans, for whom he has grown a soft spot.
In an exclusive chat with the Siya crew, Kerr opens up about the club's passionate supporters, who have continued to show him love even after parting ways with their club for a second time and have even tipped him for a job at one of the Soweto giants.
"I'm like everybody else, I'm a football fan myself," Kerr tells the crew.
"I've got no allegiances to any football club, I'm just a fan. I'm proud of the fact that supporters have never complained about me and actually said negative stuff about me. I'm honoured that I can read in Laduma and any other publication that the fans respect what I've done.
"I might not be the best coach, I might not be the coach that wins many trophies in South Africa but what I've done is entertain supporters with a good brand of football and on the back of that, the supporters especially the Lidoda Duvha supporters have been one of the biggest support systems for me. You know when you are in Thohoyandou and the stadium is full, the football becomes better because we are performing to an audience," Kerr explained.
"I walked to the shops this morning and everybody greeted me. Nobody said anything nasty to me, everybody told me, unlucky coach. They've been very, very supportive and some of them are even saying coach, when are you going to Chiefs, when are you going to Pirates (laughs) but at the end of the day I respect coaches and I would never disrespect a football coach by going behind his back to get a job," Kerr added.
The coach has remained tightlipped over his next move but has hinted that he is keen on staying in South Africa as he plots his next move.
