"Downs Must Learn From Chiefs' Mistakes" - Reader's Voice

"Downs Must Learn From Chiefs' Mistakes" - Reader's Voice

Despite enjoying a fruitful 2015/16 season Mamelodi Sundowns stand on a verge of losing most of their key players and a coach.

Leonardo Castro, Khama Billiat, Keagan Dolly and Anthony Laffor are all linked to other clubs.

The president Mr Motsepe has indicated that he was not going to stand on a way of any player who is offered an opportunity to go and play elsewhere, including their coach Pitso Mosimane who is linked with a Bafana Bafana head coach position.

This is the same mistake made by Chiefs after winning league in 2014/15; The Glamour Boys released most of key players and a coach. And since then they have entered a period of rebuilding, which has not been successful.

Downs must know that letting go of such a number of players may lead them in to a couple of barren years and they might undergo a period of rebuilding before they win silverware.

Do you think that the players should leave or stay at the club?
