VFL Wolfsburg were crowned DFB-Pokal champions after defeating Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in the final on Saturday evening.
Dortmund went ahead as early as the fifth minute, as Shinji Kagawa picked out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the box and the Gabonese striker volleyed past Diego Benaglio.
Wolfsburg eventually leveled matters in the 21st minute when Langerak failed to hold on to Naldo's free-kick and Luis Gustavo was on hand to slot home the rebound from 12-yards out.
10 minutes later and Wolfsburg went ahead, as Kevin de Bruyne got onto the end of Bas Dost's knockdown to lash home a low effort from 20-yards out.
Dost then get his name on the score-sheet in the 38th minute, as the Dutch striker rose highest to head home Ivan Perisic's inviting cross.
Wolfsburg should have added a fourth shortly after the halftime break but Caligiuri forced Langerak into a fine save, although Dost was better positioned with the goal at his mercy.
Dortmund went even closer in the 50th minute, when Kagawa's close range effort shaved the outside of the upright form six-yards out.
Wolfsburg continued to search for a fourth and were nearly rewarded in the 66th minute but Dortmund's Erik Dum was on hand to clear Caligiuri's effort off the line.
Aubameyang nearly reduced the deficit in the 87th minute but his powerful free-kick was brilliantly palmed away by Benaglio.
Wolfsburg managed to see out the remaining stages of the half, even with Henrikh Mkhitaryan going close in stoppage time, to claim their first German Cup.
