Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Two Euro Records

Cristiano Ronaldo has broken two UEFA European Championship records after his goalscoring display for Portugal against Hungary on Tuesday evening.

The Juventus forward has become the first player in history to feature in five Euro finals campaigns, after appearing for his country in their 3-0 win over Hungary in Group F on Tuesday night.

Furthermore, Ronaldo scored twice in his side's victory in their Euro opener which means he is now the all-time top scorer in Euro finals with 11 strikes, with his first strike taking him past Michel Platini, who found the net on nine occasions for France.

The defending champions take on Germany this coming Saturday in their second Euro fixture, while their third and final group stage match will come against France next week Wednesday.
