Former striker Sandile Ndlovu has weighed in on the changes at Kaizer Chiefs as he questions some key decisions.
Amakhosi made some good acquisitions with the likes of Cole Alexander, Keagan Dolly, Thabani Dube, Njabulo Ngcobo, but Ndlovu is of the opinion that players like Bernard Parker should have been shown the door.
"With Kaizer Chiefs signings, they didn't have players and they made good signings but also I feel like they should've let go of some senior players because they can intimidate youngsters," Ndlovu told the Siya crew.
"Players like Bernard Parker should not be guaranteed a starting (berth) at Chiefs. He has done well and is loyal but what is he still bringing to the field now? They should have let go of him like Willard Katsande or offer him a position off the field."
Ndlovu is also concerned about the underpeforming senior players.
"When you stick with senior players that are no longer perfoming, it can do damage to players like it has done with Khama Billiat. I was hoping Chiefs sends strong message to the underperforming players, but with the recent line-ups, it proves otherwise," he added.
