The former Spain captain has faced some terrific footballers in his career and it was not surprising that he named so many legends in his toughest eleven.
Puyol picked former Chelsea star Didier Drogba as one of the players he found it extremely difficult to play against. The Ivorian faced the Spainiard on a few occasions and even got the better of him in the UEFA Champions League semi-final.
Other players that made the defender's team include Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben, as well as AC Milan stalwarts Paolo Maldini and Alessandro Nesta.
Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is the only current star that made Puyol's toughest XI - his inclusion stems back to when he was playing for Atletico Madrid.

The former centre back went onto win six La Liga titles and three Champions Leagues with the Blaugrana and he is currently seen as one of the club's most successful captains in Catalan side's history.
