Benzema Suspended By France Due To Sex Tape Allegation

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has been suspended from the France national side due to the ongoing investigation regarding a sex tape.   Read: Benzema Explains His Situation At Real   Benzema has been charged with two counts for allegedly plotting to blackmail team-mate Mathieu Valbuena.   The president of the French Football Federation, Noel Le Graet, explained that he had taken a "personal decision" to make Benzema unavailable for selection in March and for the Euro 2016 finals, unless the matter is resolved.   Le Graet told a press conference: "Benzema will not be available for selection in March, nor for Euro 2016 if the situation has not evolved.   "The Benzema affair for me hurts, but I am sanctioning him because I am the president of the FFF.    "What can change things? That the case is finally closed, that the two players can become friends again after a meeting."
