Man Utd Duo Lead Portugal To Big UNL Victory

League A, Group 2

Czech Republic 0-4 Portugal 

Portugal moved to the top of Group two after thrashing Czech Republic 4-0 at Fortuna Arena on Saturday evening.

Selecao got the breakthrough on 33 minutes when Manchester United full-back Diogo Dalot fired past Vaclik.

The lead was doubled on the stroke of halftime as Bruno Fernandes found the back of the net, while Patrick Schick missed a penalty for the home side a minute later,

Dalot bagged his second and Portugal's third goal seven minutes after the halftime break, while Diogo Jota added the fourth goal after being set up by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Spain 1-2 Switzerland

Spain dropped to second spot in Group two after going down 2-1 to Switzerland in Zaragoza.

The Swiss took the lead in the 21st minute when Manchester City new boy Manuel Akanji turned home Ruben Vargas' cross.

Jordi Alba restored parity for Spain on 55 minutes before an own goal from Eric Garcia put the Swiss back in front three minutes later.

League B

Scotland 2-1 Republic of Ireland

Scotland moved to the top of Group one after defeating the Republic of Ireland 2-1 at Hampden Park.

The Irish pulled ahead in the 18th minute courtesy of a strike from John Egan, with Nathan Collins picking up the assist.

The Scots had the final say when Ryan Christie converted a penalty in the 82nd minute to secure maximum points.

Slovenia 2-1 Norway

Norway missed the chance to cement top spot in Group four after losing 2-1 to Slovenia.

Erling Haaland continued his fine form after opening the scoring for the Norwegians two minutes after the halftime break.

Andraz Sporar pulled one back for the home side on 69 minutes, before Benjamin Sesko bagged the winning goal with nine minutes left on the clock.

Serbia 4-1 Sweden

Serbia rallied from behind to secure a 4-1 win over Sweden in Group four on Saturday evening

The Swedes broke the deadlock on 15 minutes through Viktor Claesson, but that lead only lasted three minutes before Aleksander Mitrovic equalised for the hosts three minutes later.

Mitrovic completed his his hat-trick in the second, before Sasa Lukic added his name to the scoresheet with a lovely strike from distance.
