Yaya Toure Reveals What Manchester City Learned From FC Barcelona's UEFA Champions League Miracle Comeback

Former Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure has revealed what he and his teammates learned from FC Barcelona's stunning victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League last week.

The Citizens do not find themselves in the same situation as the Catalan club were, though, as they currently lead their UCL Round of 16 tie against Monaco 5-3 on aggregate, but are wary of the threat the French club poses.

Speaking ahead of the second leg on Wednesday night, Toure insisted that his team needs to score goals and replicate Barcelona's performance against PSG.

"From my point of view, and maybe the manager's too, the best way to defend is to attack," the Ivorian told Sky Sport.

"If you sit deeper... when I watched PSG vs Barcelona, PSG had fantastic players up front but they were trying to defend.

"When you go and play games like that and you are four goals in front, I think that is the wrong thing to do.

"We are going to attack, we never do it the other way, we will attack and they will expect that as well. The best defence is try to score."
