UEFA have revealed their Team of the Century filled with players who have been voted the most times in the annual UEFA Team of the Year.

The annual UEFA Team of the Year was launched in 2001, and is decided through a poll on UEFA's official website. The European football body has now released their team of the 21st century so far, with players who have been selected the most times in the annual best XI.
The player with the most appearances is Ronaldo, who has appeared 11 times. The 32-year-old is also the player with the most consecutive appearances after being selected for the past 10 editions between 2007 and 2016.
He is followed by his rival Messi, who has made the team eight times, including the past three years in a row.
Iker Casillas, Carles Puyol, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Ramos sit in joint-third place after making the team in six different years.

Philipp Lahm, Gerard Pique, Xavi Hernandez and Thierry Henry made the UEFA Team of the Year five times, while Steven Gerrard was selected on three occasions.
