Spanish giants FC Barcelona host last season's losing finalists Juventus in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night. Here is how the two teams will line up at the Camp Nou!
UEFA Champions League
Teams: FC Barcelona vs Juve
Venue: Camp Nou
Time: 8.45pm
The Group D clash is one of the most anticipated fixtures of the Champions League gameweek, with both sides looking to get off to a good start.
Massimiliano Allegri's Juventus will be without five players in Claudio Marchisio, Sami Khedira, Mario Mandzukic, Giorgio Chiellini and Juan Cuadrado for their opening clash in Europe.
The teams met in the quarter-finals of last season's UCL tournament, with the Spanish giants failing to score over both legs, losing the away clash 3-0.
Barca did beat the Italian giants 2-1 in a pre-season friendly, however, with Neymar scoring both of the Blaugrana's goals in that game.
Both Ernesto Valverde's side and the Bianconeri go into the clash on the back of three wins from their past three games.
While Argentine striker Paulo Dybala could be key for Juventus, his countryman Lionel Messi is likely to be the biggest threat to the away team's defence – Messi has scored six goals in five games already this season for Barca, while his international teammate has hit the back of the net seven times in four fixtures.
Here is how the teams will line up:
Barcelona: Ter Stegen; Semedo, Piqué, Umtiti, Alba; Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta; Dembélé, Messi, Suarez.
Juventus: Buffon; De Sciglio, Benatia, Barzagli, Sandro; Pjanic, Matuidi, Bentancur; Dybala, Douglas Costa, Higuain.
