Official: UCL Quarter-Final Line-Up Revealed

Borussia Dortmund 2-0 PSV Eindhoven (3-1 aggregate)

Borussia Dortmund booked their spot in the quarter-finals after defeating PSV Eindhoven 2-0 in the second leg.

The two sides came into the clash evenly posed after playing to a 1-1 draw in the first leg three weeks ago.

Both sides were without key personnel as Dortmund missed Ivory Coast striker Sebastien Haller, while the Dutch giants had make do without the influential Noa Lang.

The Bundesliga side got off the perfect start when Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho made it two goals in two games with a lovely finish from 20 yards out.

While PSV struggled to get their name on the score-sheet, Dortmund thought they had doubled their advantage in the 77th minute when Niclas Füllkrug bagged his second goal of the campaign, but the was ruled out.

Dortmund did get a second goal in time added on when Fullkrug turned provider to set up veteran winger Marco Reus who slotted home to seal the win.

Atletico Madrid 2-1 Inter Milan (2-2 on aggregate)

Last season's finalist Inter Milan bowed out of the competition after losing to Atletico Madrid on penalties.

The Italian held a 1-0 advantage heading to the second leg after Marko Arnautovic's second-half strike at the San Siro.

Benjamin Pavard, Denzel Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij reutrned to the Inter line-up, while Atletico recalled Stefan Savic, Nahuel Molina and talisman Antoine Griezmann.

The visitors got the opening gola on the night when Federico Dimarco found the back of the net in the 33rd minute.

Atletico, however, managed to pull one back on the night as Griezmann fired past goalkeeper Yan Sommer for his sixth goal of the campaign.

After a tightly-contested second half, the home side sent the game to extra-time after substitute made it 2-1 on the night and 2-2 on aggregate with a composed finish on 87 minutes.

Extra-time came and went, with penalties needed to settle the tie but it was the home side who came out on top after winning the shoot-out 3-2.
