Result: Juventus 1-3 FC Barcelona
Date: 06 June 2015
Venue: Olympiastadion
Barcelona were crowned UEFA Champions League winners after beating Juventus 3-1 in the final, thanks to goals from Ivan Rakitic, Luis Suarez and Neymar.
The Spanish side went ahead as early as the fourth minute, as Andreas Iniesta collected a pass from Neymar, before teeing up Ivan Rakitic for a tap-in from close range.
The lead was nearly doubled in the 12th minute but Gianluigi Buffon pulled off a superb save to keep out Dani Alves' effort from 12-yards out.
Juventus, meanwhile, were chasing shadows for most of the opening 45 minutes and they failed to threaten Barcelona whenever they were in possession of the ball.
Luis Enrique's men went close to extending their advantage in the 38th minute but Luis Suarez's low effort sailed inches wide of the upright.
Buffon was called into action shortly after the halftime break, this time keeping Suarez's effort from close, following a swift counter from Barcelona.
Juventus leveled matters in the 55th minute when Alvaro Morata tapped into an empty net, after Ter-Stegen failed to hold on to Carlos Tevez's first time shot.
Enrique's men then restored their lead in the 68th minute, as Buffon turned Messi's shot into the path of Saurez, who tapped home from six-yards out.
Gerard Pique should have added a third for Barcelona in the 81st minute but the defender blasted over from 12-yards out with only Bufffon to beat.
The La Liga champions managed to round off the scoring and seal the title, courtesy of a composed finish from Neymar in the final minute of the game, after some good work from Pedro Rodriguez.
