The former FC Barcelona manager has now managed during six Champions League seasons and he has reached the semi-finals in all of them.
The only time the Spaniard didn't reach the semis during his coaching career was when he took his sabbatical from football.
Guardiola won his first Champions League as Barcelona coach in 2008/09 and repeated this success in 2010/11.
In 2009/10 Pep's Barcelona were stopped by Jose Mourinho's Inter, who eventually won the title, while in 2011/12 eventual winners Chelsea stopped the Catalans.
Guardiola took his sabbatical the following year after which he immediately guided his new club, Bayern into the semi-finals against Real Madrid - but was eliminated 5-0 on aggregate.
On Tuesday, the 44-year-old has completed his 100th match at Bayern, winning 77, drawing 12 draws and losing 11. With this record, he has bettered his return from his first 100 games in Spain, where he won 71, drew 19 and lost 10.
