Real Madrid superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, is the key ingredient to his club's success and is the best player in the world, according to Liverpool defender, Martin Skrtel.
The 29-year-old, admits he faces a tough challenge when he comes up against the Portuguese in tomorrow's Champions League match, but believes Liverpool can surprise the champion's.
"For me, Ronaldo is the best in the world, but everyone knows the Real players and in my mind they are the best team in the world, so yeah, it is a challenge for us as a team now," he said.
"The Champions League is the best competition in the world, because you face the best players in the world.
"It will be a great game, and we will do our best to show we're able to compete with the best, and I believe we can get a result against them."
Skrtel, who has made 252 appearances for Liverpool, revealed that only one player could possibly improve Los Blancos forward line.
"I don't think you can improve their forward line too much. Maybe if I was manager I would put Luis Suarez in there as well… but I don't know for who," he added.
Ronaldo has not scored at Anfield in his previous five visits, a record which dates back to when he joined Manchester United.
