Pogba Breaks Silence On 'Next Club' Rumour

Paul Pogba has broken his silence on rumours he is in talks with a certain club in Europe after having his four-year doping ban reduced.

Since it was confirmed the 31-year-old can resume his playing his career in March 2025, the Frenchman has been strongly linked with Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille.

This was after former teammate and good friend Patrice Evra said he would be in touch with the club's sporting director Medhi Benatia to recommend he moves for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport significantly reduced Pogba's ban from the sport following an appeal, after he tested positive for testosterone at the start of the 2023/24 campaign.

Maintaining his innocence from the start, Pogba has been cleared to return to action next year, although reports suggest it is unlikely he will continue at Juventus.

The Bianconeri and the ex-Manchester United midfielder's camp are reportedly in talks to have his deal, which runs until 2026, mutually terminated in the coming weeks.

On the rumours claiming Marseille could be his next destination, Pogba dismissed the story as implausible.

"I laugh, because it is Uncle Pat, he said it as a joke. I am still under contract, so it is not credible," he told L'Equipe.

"I already have a club, so I only thinking about returning and getting out of this situation.
