Manchester United target Nigel de Jong has signed a new contract at AC Milan, keeping him at the club until 2018.

The Dutchman, who had recently been linked with a return to England, put an end to the transfer rumours, by extending his stay at Italian giants, AC Milan.
The club's official Twitter account confirmed that De Jon would be staying at Milan until June 30, 2018.
The hard-tackling midfielder joined the Rossoneri in 2012 from former club, Manchester City, and has gone on feature 90 times for the club to date.

The 30-year-old, playing for clubs like Ajax Amsterdam, City, Milan and Hamburger has won the Dutch Eredivisie, the FA Cup, the Premier League, and was a runner up in the 2010 FIFA World Cup with the Netherlands.
