The centre-back, who is now 31 years old, was involved in a swap deal that saw Bianconeri defender Mattia Caldara move to San Siro as his replacement.
Although some supporters were seemingly not keen to forgive and forget Bonucci's departure last season, the defender told the club's YouTube channel that he feels he has come home.
"It was difficult to imagine that this would happen, but it is fantastic that it has," the Italian told Juventus' official YouTube channel.
"I am excited. Turin is my home and Juventus is my home, so I am delighted to be back."
