Ghana bad boy Kevin-Prince Boateng says he is open to a possible return to AC Milan, but he will take some time to make a decision on what's next for him.
Ghana Bad Boy Axed By Bundesliga Club
Boateng and teammate Sidney Sam were suspended indefinitely by Schalke earlier this month, following the side's 2-0 defeat to Cologne, and last Monday he was released by the club with immediate effect.
The Ghanaian enjoyed three seasons at Milan before moving to Schalke, and admitted that he would be keen on going back if they wanted him.
"Milan is a city I love, I love living there and my girlfriend lives there and in football you never know," he told Italian TV show 'Tiki Taka'.
"I will consider everything after the holidays, now I prefer to just relax."
Boateng also spoke about the club's recent struggles and he said that he was saddened by the state of affairs on the pitch.
"We had a really incredible group with champions such as (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic and (Clarence) Seedorf," he added.
"It hurts to see the side under pressure even if bad times can happen to anyone."
