Only one team in Europe's top five leagues has lost all its games this season, equalling an unwanted record set by Manchester United 87 years ago.

Italian side Benevento gained promotion to Serie A via the playoff route after finishing in fifth spot in Serie B last season. They were unbeaten in their last 12 games, including three playoff rounds, of the previous campaign, but are experiencing a horror start to life in Italy's top flight.
After gaining surprise promotion, Benevento spent €20.53 million (R338 million) on 19 new players, and they have been struggling to adapt to Serie A.
Following their 2-1 defeat to defending champions Juventus on the weekend, Benevento have now lost their first 12 league games of the 2017/18 campaign.
Benevento, whose nickname "Le Streghe" translates to "The Witches", already broke the Serie A record for the worst start to a new season a few weeks ago, surpassing the previous domestic record set by Venezia, who lost their first nine games of the season in 1950.
Their defeat to Juventus saw them equal United's 87-year-old record from 1930, when the Red Devils recorded the worst ever start in Europe's top five leagues, according to AS.
United, though, managed to break their hoodoo after the 12th defeat, beating Birmingham City 2-0 at home, but could not prevent relegation after winning just seven games that season.

Benevento will have a chance to stop the negative run when they play host to 17th-placed Sassuolo after the international break.
