Saudi Giants 'Prepare' R23m-A-Week Offer For De Bruyne

One of Saudi Arabia's biggest clubs is reportedly prepared to offer Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne a contract worth £1 million (R23 million) a week.

According to TEAMtalk, Saudi Pro League outfit Al Nassr are preparing a staggering proposal in an attempt to lure the Belgium international to the Middle East.

The 33-year-old could part ways with City when his contract expires next year, making him a prime target for the Knights of Najd.

This lucrative deal, which would see De Bruyne earn £1 million every week, could see him become one of football's highest-paid players in history.

While MLS side San Diego FC are also rumoured to be interested in his signature, Al Nassr are confident of their chances of landing the superstar's services.

With Cristiano Ronaldo already making waves at the club, they believe they can offer De Bruyne an enticing project in Saudi Arabia.

The midfielder stated earlier this year that he would be open to playing in the Saudi Pro League, admitting that the money on offer could be life-changing.

City, though, might be hoping to hang on to De Bruyne for at least another season, having successfully fended off interest from Saudi teams in goalkeeper Ederson before this latest campaign got underway.
