After Spanish giants Real Madrid dropped points in LaLiga once again this past weekend, manager Zinedine Zidane was asked if he thinks Los Blancos are perhaps missing a player like Cristiano Ronaldo.
Following two goalless draws to FC Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao in the league, the Frenchman's men are now two points behind the Catalan giants, who beat Deportivo Alaves 4-1 on Saturday.
After the Madrid club's stalemate on Sunday night, Zidane was asked if he thinks Real could be missing a goalscoring machine like Ronaldo.
"It's only a moment, it's only two games that we didn't score.
"Football is like that, and when we get back to work, when we start winning again, we are going to overcome this issue. You ask, I answer – I don't think we need anything.
"All we need is to keep doing what we are doing because we are doing it well at all levels."
Ronaldo scored 450 in 438 matches in nine years for Real, and is the club's record goalscorer.
