Luca Zidane started the 3-2 league win over Huesca, when Thibaut Courtois was out injured and Keylor Navas came back fatigued from national team duty.
However, it now seems as there is no future for the 20-year-old at Los Blancos, with France Football reporting he will join Ligue 2 club Clermont Foot in the coming transfer window.
"Luca is a great goalkeeper and deserves these opportunities," former Real shotstopper Kiko Castilla – who joined English Champions club Leeds United in January – told Marca earlier this month.
"He is a great person too, he works very hard and has maturity beyond his years, he has done very well for the Castilla side and has worked his way up.
"Who knows where his future now, but he is growing at Madrid and he will be an excellent goalkeeper regardless of what club he plays for."
Luca Zidane has made 26 appearances for Real's B-side Castilla this season and featured once in the first team.
His older brother Enzo has already left the Santiago Bernabeu and currently plays for Madrid-based Rayo Majadahonda in Spain's second division.
