Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has reportedly made a new salary demand to the club during negotiations for a new deal.
The Brazilian's current deal with the Madrid outfit expires in 2027, but the club are eager to extend his contract to avoid any problems next year.

However, reports in Spain claim the two parties are not close to reaching an agreement on terms for the extension.
According to Cadena COPE, Vinicius wants to earn excess of €25million a year from the new contract, which would put him in the same bracket as Kylian Mbappe.
With talks currently on hold, reports claim that teams in the Saudi Pro League are keeping close tabs on the situation, having previously made attempts to sign the Brazilian winger.
Vinicius, however, stated last month that he hopes to stay in the Spanish capital for many years.
“I hope I can stay here for many years. I’ve always said it’s the club of my life. I’m very happy with the coach and the staff, I hope I can stay,” the player said, as per Mundo Deportivo.
“I have a two year contract until 2027. I want to stay for my entire career and make history in this team.”
