Amid rumours linking Real with a host of names, Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that Luka Jovic will join the Spanish giants.

Minutes later, Los Blancos also announced the deal for the Serbia striker.

The 21-year-old forward will sign a six-year contract with Real, pending the completion of a medical.

The two clubs have agreed not to reveal the transfer fee for Jovic, with reports suggesting it is in the region of €60 million (R977 million) plus another €10 million (R163 million) in add-ons.

Jovic, who scored 27 goals in 48 games across all competitions for Frankfurt in the 2018/19 campaign, becomes Real's third signing ahead of 2019/20, following the arrivals of Eder Militao from FC Porto and Rodrygo Goes from Santos FC, with the latter being securred before Zidane return to Santiago Bernabeu.
