French superstar Karim Benzema has broken his silence over his future at Real Madrid amid rumours he has received a big-money offer from Saudi Arabia.

Many expected the 35-year-old to announce his upcoming departure from Los Blancos on Thursday afternoon after reports suggested the club was preparing a press conference for the Frenchman to bid his farewell.
That news came after it was claimed he had informed the club of his decision to leave amid a two-year contract proposal from Saudi Pro League champions Al Ittihad.
Benzema, however, refused to reveal his plans after accepting the Marca Leyenda prize, an award honouring his career as a whole, on Thursday night.
"Why should I talk about the future? I'm at Real Madrid," he told Marca.
"Reality is not the same as what is said on the internet."
The 2022 Ballon d'Or winner was previously expected to extend his stay in Spain by another year ahead of the expiration of his deal in June.

It remains to be seen as to when his future will become clear, though, with Real set to end their 2022/23 campaign with a home match in LaLiga against Athletic Bilbao this weekend.
