Gareth Bale Makes Big Real Madrid Admission

Gareth Bale Makes Big Real Madrid Admission

After manager Zinedine Zidane made it clear he was not in his plans, Welsh superstar Gareth Bale was expected to leave Real Madrid in the past window. However, having ultimately ended up staying at Los Blancos, the player has now made a big admission.

Official: PSG And Real Complete Swap Deal

The 30-year-old was close to a move to China just a few weeks ago, but has started in all three of Real's first three LaLiga matches of the new season.

Despite Zidane recently saying he is now relying on Bale for the season, the player himself has now admitted he is still not happy at the club.

"I understand I was made more of a scapegoat than most, I take it with a pinch of salt even though maybe it's not all fully fair," the Wales talisman told Sky Sports.

"Towards the end of last season was difficult, there is no denying that, not just for me but for the team.

"I wouldn't say I'm playing happy but I'm playing. When I am playing, I am professional and I am always giving all I can, whether that be for club or country.

"I'm sure there'll be plenty more turbulence, to be honest. I suppose it is something you will have to speak to Real Madrid about, and it's between me and them, and we will have to come to some sort of conclusion."

Reports: Zidane Furious With Real Bosses

Bale has scored twice and assisted one goal in his first three matches of the new campaign for Real.
