In the wake of the events at the Mestalla Stadium this past weekend, where Los Blancos suffered a 1-0 defeat, reports in Brazil claimed the 22-year-old's entourage is exploring a departure from Spain for the player.
ESPN Brasil said, however, that the Selecao international's preference is to remain at the club, although The Athletic has since stated that the talented attacker could seek an exit amid the treatment he has received at away grounds in recent months.
Vinicius, who was later sent off in the heated clash, took aim at LaLiga on social media, to which the organisation's president Javier Tebas said the league was doing everything within its means to eradicate discrimination from the game.
Arrests have reportedly since been made in the aftermath of this latest racism row, while FIFA has urged leagues around the world to stop matches when such lines are crossed.

Ancelotti, meanwhile, believes the ex-Flamengo talent's future lies in Madrid.
"I do not think he will leave," Ancelotti told reporters, according to the Daily Mirror.
"Because he loves football and he loves Real Madrid. His love for the club is great and he wants to have his career here. He has not lost hope, no. We will see the suspension he receives, and we will evaluate giving him more or fewer rest days.
"If he is suspended for two games, then I will give him a week off, to be ready against Athletic Bilbao. And if he is out for just one game then no, he will play against Sevilla."
Vinicius' red card has since been rescinded by LaLiga, as was confirmed in a statement on Tuesday night.
